David N. Jonas, Founder, Chairman and CEO

Mr. Jonas, Founder, Chairman and CEO of PharMEDium Healthcare Corporation, has 30+ years of management leadership experience in the healthcare industry.  His background in development, manufacturing, sales and distribution of critical healthcare products and services is the foundation for the evolution of PharMEDium into the industry’s preeminent provider of hospital pharmacy compounding services for intravenous therapy. 

Prior to founding PharMEDium, Mr. Jonas was Co-founder and COO of Renal Therapy Services Worldwide, Inc., a Subsidiary of Baxter International, Inc., and Vice President, Global Corporate Development, Baxter International Inc.  In addition to several senior management positions with Baxter International Inc., Mr. Jonas also served on privately-held company and not-for-profit organization Boards including: The Chicago Medical School, Gore-Bronson Bancorp, and Healthcare Venture Fund.

Rich Kruzynski, RPh, President

Mr. Kruzynski has 30+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.  Under his leadership, PharMEDium has developed a broad-range of intravenous and epidural compounding and admixture services that have become the Gold Standard in the pharmacy outsourcing industry.  He is responsible for developing many of the PharMEDium approaches for partnering with pharmaceutical and medical device companies.  As a member of an ASHP work group, he was instrumental in establishing standards for IV preparation outsourcing, and score-carding outsourcing operations. 

In the early 1990s, Mr. Kruzynski founded the COMPASS compounding program and participated in leading business development for the Baxter Healthcare Corporation’s premixed drug products’ program.  Mr. Kruzynski holds U.S. patents for unique label designs for IV compounded preparations.

Jennifer Adams, Vice President, Sales

Ms. Adams is responsible for leading the United States sales organization, which includes directing national accounts, inside and outside sales forces.  Under Ms. Adams’ leadership, the PharMEDium Sales Force has developed into one of the most trusted partners to its vast hospital customers further establishing PharMEDium as a prominent market leader in the outsourced pharmacy services industry.   

Past sales, marketing, training and product experience includes senior management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation for the Transfusion Therapies Division, Access Systems and Infusion Systems, and Electronic Infusion Systems Divisions, and sales responsibility for Minolta Business Systems. 

Tom Cosentino, Vice President of Field Operations and Supply Chain

Mr. Cosentino is responsible for manufacturing operations to help achieve corporate quality, service, and cost objectives; supply chain development; process engineering to help ensure service quality and safety; and facility engineering.   Under Mr. Cosentino’s leadership, PharMEDium’s Field Operations and Supply Chain help assure just-in-time availability of customers’ required outsourced compounded services. 

Prior to joining PharMEDium, Mr. Cosentino held senior manufacturing and supply chain management positions, which favorably impacted the goals and objectives of the Medical Products and Services Divisions of Cardinal Health, Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Culligan International.

Amy Langan, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Ms. Langan has 15+ years of healthcare industry experience.  Her marketing and business development responsibilities include developing comprehensive RTU for IV therapy service offerings for the inpatient and outpatient acute care market and developing and fostering partnership alliances. Under Ms. Langan’s leadership, PharMEDium has expanded its industry leadership position with innovative hospital acute care platforms of RTU compounded services setting the industry Gold Standard.  She holds several U.S patents addressing patient safety and is a Board member of the AANA Foundation of Trustees.

Prior to joining PharMEDium, Ms. Langan held several key marketing management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation where she was responsible for developing agreements with multiple pharmaceutical companies, launching pre-mixed drugs for IV therapies, developing a Key Opinion Leader program and developing one of the first marketing plans for the outsourcing market.  Ms. Langan was also a national sales trainer where she gained in-depth industry, market, product and service experience. 

Todd A. Lesser, Vice President, Customer Service and Sales Operations

Mr. Lesser is responsible for the Customer Service and e-Commerce strategy supporting PharMEDium’s growth and customer retention plans.  Mr. Lesser manages the company’s Sales Operations and Customer Service functions, and has general management responsibility for the Patient Specific business.   Under Mr. Lesser’s leadership, PharMEDium’s Customer Service has become the industry’s Gold Standard for outsourced hospital pharmacy services providing customers with a just-in-time organization that ensures consistent and reliable service.

Prior to joining PharMEDium, Mr. Lesser held senior management positions with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Webmodal, Inc., AT&T, Kraft Foods, Inc., and Arthur Andersen & Co. 

Jim McMahon, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. McMahon has led the PharMEDium Healthcare Corporation financial organization as CFO since the company’s inception in 2003.  Mr. McMahon was instrumental in building PharMEDium’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System which today helps manage internal and external resources, tangible assets, financial resources, materials, and human resources. 

Prior to joining PharMEDium, Mr. McMahon gained valuable years of experience in increasing responsible senior financial management positions for public and privately held companies including Rockwell International and Rand McNally.  He is a CPA in Illinois.

Thomas W. Rasnic, Vice President, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Research and Development

Mr. Rasnic is responsible for Quality Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Research and Development, and ensuring that PharMEDium has an integrated and standardized Quality System throughout the organization.  His 25+ years of medical device, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industry experience includes establishing compliant Quality Management Systems with domestic and international standards.  Mr. Rasnic’s experience includes working with the FDA and international regulators, driving customer satisfaction and applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma project management for continuous product and service improvement. 

Prior to joining PharMEDium, Mr. Rasnic held senior management positions positively impacting the efforts at CareFusion Corporation, Cardinal Health, and Baxter Healthcare.  Mr. Rasnic is a Six Sigma Certified Engineer, and a Certified “Auditor/Lead Auditor.”
