Regulatory compliance

PharMEDium has a proven reputation for stringent regulatory compliance. PharMEDium is registered with the FDA and the DEA and holds a state pharmacy license in each state where a compounding center resides and is licensed to ship into all 50 states.  Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are licensed and or registered, as required, in the state in which they work, and state board of pharmacy requirements are met for the state in which they are located.

PharMEDium plans for capacity and redundancy needs by maintaining back-up facilities in the event of a production disruption, preparing for an emergency with a disaster recovery plan and ensuring capability to service the entire hospital marketplace.

PharMEDium maintains product liability insurance as required by the hospital marketplace, provides quality control history and quality assurance trend reports on a regular basis and makes this information available upon request.  A written contract is established with each customer.
