PharMEDium utilizes commercially available components whenever possible to ensure quality safe preparations.  We provide evidence supporting our extended expiration dating for compounded sterile preparations including validated testing procedures, potency tests at room temperature and refrigeration, and extreme temperature testing to determine impact on preparation characteristics.  We evaluate each preparation for chemical characteristics such as pH, viscosity, particulate matter, color and sterility.
