California Board of Pharmacy - Updated Compounding Regulations

The California Board of Pharmacy has updated regulations for all compounding and sterile injectable compounding. The Board of Pharmacy will provide an educational component for 6 months. Other regulatory agencies may enforce these regulations immediately. USP <797> has similar and more extensive requirements on sterile injectable compounding. The new California regulations require significant practice changes for pharmacy documentation. Click here for PDF.
