Jenn Adams is responsible for leading the PharMEDium and American Health Packaging (AHP) organizations. Her focus is to identify opportunities for these businesses to best serve the clinical needs of their customers around patient centric solutions related to medication safety. Before assuming this role, Jenn served as PharMEDium’s President, overseeing all facets of the business including sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, business development, quality, and clinical affairs. Prior to this, Jenn led PharMEDium’s commercial organizations, including National Accounts, Inside Sales and Outside Sales. Under Jenn’s direct leadership, PharMEDium has grown to be a prominent market leader in the outsourced pharmacy services industry.
Jenn has over 25 years of sales, marketing, training, and product development experience. Prior to joining PharMEDium, Jenn was responsible for the sales team at Fenwal, a provider of products supporting life-saving blood therapies. Jenn has also held multiple senior level management positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in its Transfusion Therapies, Medication Delivery, and Electronic Infusion Systems businesses. Throughout her career, Jenn has taken pride in providing consistent leadership and commitment to her team and her customers. Jenn holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
As General Manager, Tom Cosentino is responsible for leading the organization to define and execute PharMEDium’s strategy and key business objectives. In his role, Tom is focused on attaining operational excellence throughout the organization in support of our customers as they care for their patients. Prior to his current role, Tom was responsible for PharMEDium’s manufacturing operations, and drove corporate quality, service, and efficiency objectives.
Before PharMEDium, Tom held senior manufacturing positions at various healthcare corporations. At Allegiance Healthcare Corporation, Tom negotiated numerous commodity purchases and maintained all strategic vendor relationships. At Baxter Healthcare Corporation he oversaw all production and operational aspects of the facility. Tom earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management from Northern Illinois University.
As PharMEDium’s Vice President of Quality, Sanjeev is responsible for overseeing the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and the Quality Systems departments. In this role, Sanjeev manages the FDA ICH Q10 Guidance and is accountable for testing the pharmaceutical products to ensure they are within applicable specifications and of the quality required for their intended use.
With over 28 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, and Regulatory Compliance, Sanjeev possesses a thorough understanding of aseptic manufacturing, production and process controls, components/raw materials/process intermediates, finished dosage forms, post-market surveillance, regulatory notifications and field actions, and various guidelines issues by the FDA and other regulatory authorities for drugs, biologics, and devices. Most recently he served as the Vice President, Head of Global Quality Systems at Shire. Prior to Shire, Sanjeev held a number of leadership positions at Baxter Healthcare Corporation in their Bioscience and Medication Delivery Divisions, Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, and Alpharma USPD. Sanjeev has received both a Master of Science (Honors) in Biophysics and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Biophysics from Panjab University in Chandigarh, India.
As Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Dr. Briscoe-Dwyer is responsible for the oversight of pharmacy practice for PharMEDium’s pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, as well as Research and Development. Leigh serves as an external liaison to the pharmacy community, customers, Federal and State regulators and legislators, and provides leadership in all aspects of medical affairs, with an emphasis on clinical care.
Leigh was previously at North Shore-LIJ Health System, where she was the Chief Pharmacy and Medication Safety Officer, and currently serves on the New York State Board of Pharmacy. Leigh is a registered Pharmacist, and holds degrees from Albany College of Pharmacy and St. John’s University—both in New York. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, and serves on the faculties of St. John’s University College of Pharmacy, and the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Additionally, she is a past-President of the New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists and is a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Matt Distel, the Vice President of Finance, is responsible for the Finance and Controller functions of PharMEDium including financial planning and analysis, contracts and pricing, accounting, receivables, payables, order entry, and sales reporting. Prior to this role, Matt served as Controller for PharMEDium.
Before joining PharMEDium, Matt was a Senior Manager at Underwriters Laboratories LLC, where he managed a large team of accountants and was responsible for the accounting of the U.S. and Canadian legal entities. At Ernst & Young LLP, he served both the public and private sectors where he conducted financial audits, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Matt earned both a Masters of Accounting Science and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and has achieved his CPA certification.
Andrew Harrison is the chief legal officer for PharMEDium and serves both the PharMEDium Lead Team as well as AmerisourceBergen Corporation Executive Team by providing legal advice on complex State/Federal regulatory matters, commercial contracts, intellectual property, licensing, and litigation as well as all other legal issues that may impact the business.
Andrew has over eighteen years of experience as a corporate attorney with focus in the areas of regulatory law, ethics and compliance, government affairs/public policy, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. He previously served as Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer & General Counsel for Regulatory Compliance Associates, Inc. and prior to that, as Executive Vice President, Global Quality & Compliance at GE Healthcare. His preceding roles at Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Catalent Pharma Solutions, LLC, enriched his additional senior leadership experiences. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from East Tennessee State University, and a JD from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Additionally, Andrew holds a Master of Science Degree in Regulatory Science from The Johns Hopkins University, Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, Advanced Academic Program.
As Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain, Brian Hefner is responsible for the oversight of all of the manufacturing operations at each of PharMEDium’s four 503B Outsourcing Facilities. Brian has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in the Supply Chain organization throughout his tenure at PharMEDium. Brian is responsible for streamlining operational workflows and reinforcing Six Sigma practices in all of PharMEDium’s operating locations.
Prior to joining PharMEDium, Brian held various positions within Cardinal Health where he focused on production planning and driving best in class service levels. Brian earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University.
Mike Lapp co-leads the PharMEDium sales organization overseeing the Western half of the United States and the National Accounts team. Mike has been with PharMEDium since 2003, assuming roles of increasing responsibility within the Sales organization. Mike has successfully focused his team on developing mutually beneficial relationships with large aggregated customer groups, focusing on aligning PharMEDium’s capabilities with patient safety initiatives.
Mike started his career as a sales representative for Maytag. Mike earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Iowa State University.
Brad Leach co-leads the PharMEDium sales organization and oversees the Eastern half of the United States along with national coverage for the OR and ICU Specialists teams. Throughout his PharMEDium career he has held various management roles within the sales department. Brad has over 20 years of sales experience in the pharmacy outsourced compounding industry. Brad takes great pride in listening to his customers and developing creative solutions to meet their service needs.
Prior to PharMEDium, Brad held roles of increasing responsibility within Baxter Healthcare Corporation’s I.V. Systems Division. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from The University of South Florida.
As the Vice President of IT and Relationship Management, Teri leads the IT team and acts as the liaison between PharMEDium and AmerisourceBergen’s Enterprise IT organization. Her role also includes the responsibility for all services and supporting products of AmerisourceBergen Enterprise IT. She is responsible for understanding the business, assisting in the prioritization of projects, ensuring projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and executing the technology initiatives that support the overall business strategy.
Teri has a successful history of deploying the appropriate technologies and solutions to meet the needs of the business and markets. Prior to her position with PharMEDium, Teri was the VP-CIO of HealthFitness Corporation (a Trustmark company), where she was responsible for the strategy, investment, executive-level relationships, and resources necessary to drive technology and support for the business. She has also held various other IT roles with Motorola Inc. and Cummins Engine Company. Teri received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS), from Indiana University.
Jeff Nordquist leads the Marketing and Business Development teams. His primary responsibilities include developing and implementing commercial programs for all product platforms including strategy, creative development, content, and project leadership. Jeff also champions external and internal communications and enhances the customer experience. Jeff’s focus is evolving PharMEDium’s brand strategy as an industry and thought leader – championing brand and product preference with key stakeholders.
Jeff joined PharMEDium with over twenty years of marketing and pharmaceutical leadership experience. Prior to PharMEDium, Jeff held senior marketing roles at CORPAK MedSystems, Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Pfizer. Jeff earned an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Anita Wilson joined PharMEDium’s Lead Team as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Anita oversees all human resource functions for PharMEDium. In her role, she serves as a strategic HR partner, associate champion, talent driver, and change leader in the alignment with the business and HR strategies and service delivery.
Anita comes to PharMEDium with a depth of experience in human resources and legal. Before PharMEDium, Anita worked for Noble Network of Charter Schools in Chicago and for DeVry Education Group where she developed and deployed a Center of Excellence for the organization. She also served as Vice President and Chief Employment Counsel for Tree House Foods, Inc. and has held various employment counsel roles for Sara Lee Corporation, Morgan Stanley, Discover Financial Services, Inc., and McDonald’s Corporation. Anita holds a JD from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of the Arts from Northern Illinois University.
